These fantasy monuments, sculpted digitally, are explorations concerning the underlying nature that hides below the surface concepts of traditional monumental sculpture usually seen.

My interest in fantastical creatures originated from my desire to explain human issues. It was never intended as escapist Imagery. Combining animal and human proportions is a way to explore ideas and human expression best explained through invented creatures and narrative. The nature of character personality as imagery has always fascinated me. This impulse is a guide to various forms of sequential imagery, theater, puppet making, and masks, and also influenced my early computer work. It continues to this day.
